And so, it begins! 2026 is here, and Gwynedd is ready. Although winter break was nice, I think it’s safe to say that all of us Monarchs are happy to be back. When the clock struck twelve on January 1st, the seniors officially entered their graduation year. With every passing day, a senior is opening an acceptance letter to their dream school, finding their roommate, or growing into a confident young woman.
Even though stress levels are at a maximum for most seniors, it is important to remember that this is the final stretch for us. The most important thing is bringing a positive mindset into 2026. While seniors are stressing about college and trying to meet deadlines, the younger grades are preparing for midterms — one week of straight testing.
Given all the hard work and dedication everyone has put into their academics over the last few months, students should feel confident heading into these exams. 2025 was a great year, so let’s make 2026 even better. May it be filled with kindness, laughter, friendship, and mercy.
