GMA’s winter sports season is already off to a great start! Many Gwynedd girls are starting their winter seasons on the Swimming and Diving, Basketball, Crew, and Indoor Track teams. So far, the Indoor Track team has only a few meets but is looking forward to competing more as the new year comes along. The Swim & Dive team has begun their season competing in 3 meets and just had their first league meet. Meanwhile, the Basketball team is off to a very strong start, with an impressive 7-0 record, as well as senior Bailey Balkir hitting her 1000th Gwynedd career point against Merion Mercy. On the other hand, GMA’s Crew team works through their indoor winter practices in preparation for a great spring season. Let’s wish our amazing student athletes a great winter season and good luck in all of their competitions!
