The Lady Monarch Basketball team continues their undefeated streak as they move through their season. On Saturday February 13^th, the team beat rival Mount Saint Joseph Academy 51-47. The team continues to out play every opponent and have made it their goal to keep this spirit alive. The team includes three sets of sisters and had the chance to talk with Jamie Apody from 6ABC. Senior Kaylie Griffin ’21, who will continue her athletic and academic career at Saint Joseph’s University, told Apody “I think it creates a really good environment for us, to compete with each other and make each other better.” Griffin is also approaching her goal of scoring one thousand points and continues to work and play to gain such an achievement.  The sister sets explain how the chemistry is better than any other team and they will continue to use this to their advantage. The team continues to push through their season even in these tough times and all of the girls are extremely grateful to be given the chance to play the sport they love. The Monarchs play Villa Joseph Academy on Tuesday the 16^th and St Basil Academy on Friday the 15^th.
