The Gwynedd basketball team has completed their regular season and qualified for the state playoffs as the 4th seed from District 1, after making runs to the AACA championship and district semifinal. On Saturday, March 11th, the state playoffs began, and the Monarchs put together a dominant performance. They defeated Freire Charter from District 12 by a convincing 25-point deficit. Gwynedd played very well as a team in order to secure this victory. Gwynedd is now moving on in state playoffs to Round 2, and their next matchup is against District 11’s Bethlehem Catholic.
