In celebration of Galentines Day and to support an important cause, representatives on Student Council organized and executed a Gwynedd Galentines fundraiser! Students had the opportunity to purchase candy grams for their friends and their teachers. All proceeds made are going towards the Equal Justice Initiative (link to the website below). This organization is committed to challenging racial and economic injustice through advocating and protecting the basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society. Student Council Representative Mara Howard ’22 shares her thoughts on the fundraiser, “I think it’s a great opportunity for the girls to have something special to connect with their friends over, even those in the other cohort”. Gwynedd Galentines was a great opportunity for students to support a great cause while doing something nice for their friends.
