This year, Gwynedd’s Basketball Team has an unusual roster, featuring three pairs of sisters: Kaylie ’21 and Hannah ’25 Griffin, Bianca ’22 and Sofia ’22 Coleman, Madeline ’22 and Morgan ’23 Newell. All are members of the basketball team’s varsity lineup. The sister craze on the team recently caught the attention of the local news. This past Thursday, February 11th, all three of the sister duos were featured on 6abc News in an interview with Jamie Apody. The girls spoke with Jamie about what it is like to have a sibling as a teammate and how that influences their game play. The sisters also discussed how these bonds contribute to the strong chemistry the basketball team has as whole.
