There truly is nothing like Mercy Christmas! To kick off the holiday break, Gwynedd students came in for a half-day full of fun Christmas activities! Alumnae returned to enjoy a nice breakfast and join in on the festivities. The seniors gave a sneak peak of what Wednesday night’s candlelight looked like, with some amazing music included. Also, Mrs. Merril was appointed as the 22nd principal of Gwynedd, and the community could not be happier!
Afterwards, students went back to their classrooms and participated in a gingerbread making competition. Mr. Baxter’s freshman homeroom won the competition with a stranger-things themed house! Heading back to the PAC, the performing arts students put on an amazing show, getting everyone in the Christmas spirit. Faculty participated in a fun game similar to The Masked Singer, where Monarchs had to guess who was singing the classic Christmas carol. The day ended with a few final updates from the most recent GMA TV episode, and some festive Karaoke. The girls are off for a long break until they return back in the new year! The long-awaited Christmas break is here and hopefully everybody has a happy, safe, holiday!
