Open House 2023

Open+House+2023

On Sunday, October 1st, the Gwynedd community welcomed over 300 families to the annual Open House, showcasing all the unique school departments, programs, activities and Mercy Spirit the school has to offer. Students gave tours of the campus, revealing all of the beautiful sights in the building— from the colorful classrooms to the gorgeous views in the windows of the art and music rooms. Visitors were able to hear from teacher and student representatives from each academic subject, and received glimpses into what the classroom environments are like.

In addition to the overviews of how the curriculum and schedule are shaped, families listened to real Gwynedd student reflections on their experiences at the academy. During the presentations, alumna Sydney Mandato ’23, a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, shared her story about the impact of a Gwynedd education, and how her leadership at Gwynedd has helped her tremendously in college. Students talked passionately about their various interests and how Gwynedd has helped to shape and further them. The day was a success, and just one of the many opportunities for prospective students and families to visit the school!
