On Wednesday, the Performing Arts Department of Gwynedd held their annual Performing Arts Picnic. The event took place in the field outside of the music wing, where students enjoyed delicious treats and chatted about their memories from the year. Then, senior shoutouts were presented, as students took the microphone to speak to each senior of the performing arts department. They shared personal memories, inside jokes, and wished the graduates the best as they continued on to college. After this, Mrs. Giangiulio announced the student presidents of all of the music clubs for the 2023-24 school year, and the crowd was beyond supportive of each and every new leader. Finally, the most highly awaited moment arrived, as it was time for the shows of next year to be announced. Charlie and Mr. Borton were excited to tell everyone that the spring play would be The Odd Couple and that the fall musical would be Legally Blonde. The performing arts department at Gwynedd is so incredibly proud of the accomplishments made in this 2022-23 school year and cannot wait to see what will take place next year through all of the hard work put in by every single member!
