This past weekend, the Monarch Stage Players of Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School proudly presented their 2^nd-ever spring play of Little Women. This group of talented individuals made their debut last school year with the comedy, Will This Midsummer Night Never End?, and will continue to produce fantastic plays every spring. Directed by Charlie Gallagher, this cast of 13 Gwynedd students and 3 boys from local high schools worked very hard, rehearsing for hours and hours each week for three months, to present this classic American story by Louisa May Alcott. With both a principal and an understudy cast, the Monarch Stage Players performed a total of three beautiful shows to an excited audience, along with one show preview to the entire school community. The guests watching the play were filled with strong emotions of both happiness and sorrow through their tears and laughter, due to the amazing work and overwhelming talent of the actors and actresses onstage. Following the show, the cast reflected on the experience believing truly and deeply that they had made an unforgettable memory and an undeniable bond of friendship with each other.
