Field Hockey Heads to the State Finals

Gwynedd’s Field Hockey Team is headed to the State Championship after winning the semifinal game against Mechanicsburg High School on November 16th. After entering halftime down one point, Gwynedd came back swinging and earned two points, stealing the win. Audrey Beck scored a goal in the third quarter, and Alaina McVeigh’s goal in the four-quarter secured the lead. The game was riveting, keeping fans on their toes both in the stadium and at home via a live stream. With a final score of 2 – 1, Gwynedd Field Hockey advances to the championship game to be held on November 20th at Whitehall High School. The Gwynedd community is so proud of our student-athletes, and we look forward to watching GMA Field Hockey go for the gold. Come out to see our Monarchs win big in the State Championship this Saturday!
