On Wednesday, December 13th, Gwynedd celebrated the annual Candlelight, featuring talented performers of the music department and seniors as angels and members of the tableau. The orchestra presented songs such as “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” and “All is Calm,” and also accompanied the choir to “See Amid the Winter’s Snow,” a song that had actually been especially arranged for Gwynedd and Dr. Kathy Myers a few years ago. Glee Club and Chorale both showcased beautiful musical selections to go along with the tableau that recreated the story of the Nativity. It was a wonderful evening that ended with everybody singing along to “Silent Night” and feeling the Mercy Christmas Spirit all around!
