Puppies and Goats Come to Gwynedd

Puppies and Goats Come to Gwynedd

Grace Stetler, Writer

Wondering what the 3 “G’s” of the month are? They are goats, Gwynedd girls, and giggles! For the second time this semester, Gwynedd had some very special visitors in their lobby. They weren’t 7th-grade students or prospective parents; they were goats and puppies! Our friends from the FurEver Yours Rescue visit the Gwynedd community once or twice a month, providing students with a fun event to look forward to. Girls sign up for fifteen-minute slots during their lunch or W.I.N. periods, grab their friends and head out to the lobby! They can play in the pen with some baby goats or hold one of our furry friends named Truffles! When asking senior, Brynn Romberger about the importance of the puppies and goats, she says “The puppies and goats are not only something each of us look forward to, but they act as a reminder for each student to take a deep breath, smile and share a laugh with some friends. They truly bring out the best in each Gwynedd Girl!” And students aren’t the only ones enjoying our friends! Faculty and staff love to get involved, take a walk down to the lobby, and spend some time with them! FurEver Friends provides Gwynedd girls with endless smiles and lots of laughs while reminding each student of the importance of having a good time!
