The Academy’s caf transformed into a spooky masquerade on Saturday night as juniors and seniors gathered for the Fall Formal — a night full of dancing, music, and more than a few questionable moves on the dance floor.
Student Council pulled out all the stops: lights, spooky spiderwebs, and a photo setup that had everyone striking their best poses before hitting the dance floor. A live DJ kept the night moving with everything from throwbacks to remixes — plus a couple of songs that sparked some definitely-not-administrator-approved crowd surfing attempts. (Don’t worry… no students were harmed.)
Of course, the event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the chaperones and faculty who kept an eye on the event to keep everyone safe. Student council truly organized an exciting night that everyone will reminisce for the rest of the year.
As students left with tired feet and lost voices, one thing was clear: this year’s Fall Formal brought the perfect feeling of school spirit to the halls. And if the energy of the night is any clue, the rest of the school year is shaping up to be just as unforgettable.
