This past Wednesday, Gwynedd Mercy Academy had the joy of beginning our Mercy Day celebrations with a tradition that speaks to the heart of our community: the Alumnae Breakfast. The event brought together Gwynedd students and their alumnae mothers, gathering around the table to celebrate both family and faith.
The morning was filled with warm conversations and shared memories, as daughters and mothers reflected on their shared experiences of life at Gwynedd. From stories of classes and friendships to cherished Mercy traditions, the breakfast highlighted the unique bond that connects generations of women who have walked the same halls.
Following breakfast, students joined the entire school community for the annual Mercy Day liturgy. The Mass served as a beautiful reminder of the strength of Mercy values and the living legacy of Catherine McAuley. Seeing generations of Gwynedd women united was a testament to the enduring spirit of compassion, leadership, and service that defines our school.
The Alumnae Breakfast was more than just a meal—it was a celebration of legacy, family, and the Mercy mission that continues to inspire Gwynedd women past, present, and future.
