On March 14th and 15th, Gwynedd’s Performing Arts department brought Robert Harling’s “Steel Magnolias” to life with their own incredible production! Many talented actresses dedicated their time and effort to delivering a fantastic performance. Congratulations to Nolyn Reilly (’25), Reese Miller (’26), Emily Bogle (’26), Clara Glennon (’26), Svea Mehta (’27), Francesca Deitzel (’27), Allie Schroeder (’27), Abby Blais (’28) and Kaeleigh Morris (’28) for their outstanding performances! Of course, we can’t forget the stage crew, whose countless hours of hard work made the show run seamlessly.
The cast took the audience on an emotional rollercoaster, bringing both laughter and tears throughout the night. The show was so captivating that some audience members even returned for a second viewing! “Steel Magnolias” impressed everyone with its heartfelt story, and our talented Monarchs executed it flawlessly.
The spring play was the perfect way to welcome the season! It was definitely the highlight of my weekend, and I can’t wait to see what my classmates perform next. Following in the footsteps of Beauty and the Beast was no small task, but they exceeded all expectations. Gwynedd’s Performing Arts students never disappoint, and we can’t wait for their next show!
