As the leaves die and cold weather approaches Gwynedd, the kickoff to winter athletics begins. With a wide variety of winter sports at GMA, like swimming, crew, basketball and indoor track, a vast student body population becomes especially busy around this time of year. Whatever interests you, the school’s active community offers plenty of opportunities to stay active and engaged during the colder season. With a rich tradition of supporting student athletes and encouraging a spirit of competition and fun, the Gwynedd community is prepared to bring the school spirit and commitment! To start the season, basketball has its first game this coming Wednesday, December 4th, against Episcopal Academy as well as a game against Central Bucks South on Friday. Swim is starting with a meet on that same Friday, against The Baldwin School. Let’s all wish our student-athletes good luck and perseverance through the beginning of their seasons!
