On September 29th, hundreds of Gwynedd students attended the annual Open House. From 11am to 2pm, 6th through 8th students and their families wandered through the school guided by the Gwynedd students. As the families walked through the red and gold corridors, they viewed various classrooms throughout the building and met the welcoming faculty members. Additionally, the brand new servery and a sneak peek of the school’s new wing were available for the guests to explore.
The Gwynedd girls were heavily involved in making Open House an excellent experience for the visitors. Not only did the students give tours, but numerous girls involved in different programs and sports teams displayed fabulous presentations in the gym. Some of the many talented girls involved in the arts were stationed in the art and music rooms as families walked through. Katie Lynch ’25, A cappella and Girls with Guitars put on outstanding performances throughout the day. The families were also given the opportunity to learn more about the academy during the two optional information sessions, led by Mrs. Scott and students from each grade.
Our annual Open House is a great chance for prospective students to discover more about Gwynedd’s mission, academics, programs, sports and community!
