Music was in the air on February 9th in the music room for Tri-M’s Annual Coffee House. The Tri-M Council, Ashley O’Doherty, Kaitie Lynch, Caitlin Scanlon, Jessica Crocker, and Olivia Ormsby worked hard to plan the event and make it special for the performing arts community. Earlier in the month, Tri-M gathered to decorate the music room with hearts and everything pink! With the music room all decorated and students signed up to perform, it was finally time to let everyone shine! For a reminder, Coffee House is a tradition within the performing arts community where everyone gets together to perform and show off their amazing talents whether that be singing, playing an instrument or even acting. It is a wonderful time to form a special connection within the community and deeper bonds through the power of music! The night began with a hilarious performance from the Drama Club and continued from there, with freshmen all the way through seniors performing. Along with the wonderful music, students could snack on delicious treats too. The night ended with impromptu open mic performances. It was such a beautiful night filled with so much talent and everyone felt so loved within the community! Special thanks to Mrs. Giangiulio and the Tri-M Council for all their hard work in planning the event!
