On the morning of October 11th, the class of 2027 had their freshman retreat within the school. During this, they bonded through many activities and learned more about their fellow classmates. Additionally, they reflected on themselves, as students of Gwynedd Mercy Academy. The freshman class spoke to each other about their roles, the virtues of a mercy girl, and their own virtues. In the afternoon, the Grandparents of the Class of 2027 visited. They viewed a presentation about the complex history of the school in the Performing Arts Center. Afterward, they received a guided tour of Gwynedd Mercy from their granddaughter, including the Gymnasium, where they made “breakfast bags” for those in less fortunate circumstances. This day was crucial for the freshman class and assisted in teaching them the meaning of being a mercy girl.

I learned a lot about gwynedd on grandparents day and so enjoyed spending time with Grace and meeting her friends. It was a great day.
