This past Thursday, Gwynedd’s Peer Advisory League celebrated its annual Mercy Fun Night to prepare the freshmen for their first-ever Mercy Day. The Class of 2027 decorated their red and gold shirts with fun slogans, glitter, gems and everything colorful that represented the Mercy Spirit that evening. They then went with their groups into classrooms to dance. With half an hour to learn a Just Dance cover of “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa from the Barbie movie, the students were very determined. The “Kenenergy” was very high as the freshmen gathered in the gym with neon glowsticks to perform the dance, ending the wonderful evening. Everyone went home so excited for Mercy Day to happen the next morning, where there would be even more school (and class) spirit, celebration and Barbie songs!
