Tri-M’s Coffee House

Ashley O'Doherty

On February 10th, Gwynedd’s Music Honor Society hosted its annual Coffee House. After months of preparation by the Tri-M members, the day finally arrived for Coffee House. Coffee House is a beloved tradition of the performing arts students at GMA as it is a time when each musician gets to perform and show off their incredible talents. After decorating the music room with everything and all things Valentine’s Day, the mood was set. The night of music kicked off with a performance by Gwynedd’s Girls with Guitars. After that, students sang moving original songs, performed hilarious drama skits, and even showed an original screen play. The night was also filled with delicious snacks and raffle baskets. Coffee House ended with the impromptu singing of Gwynedd’s alma mater. Love was in the air at Coffee House. Not just the love that each member of the performing arts community at Gwynedd has for one another but also an intense love for the music that is produced. Coffee House is so special because it highlights the incredible talents that bond each of the performing arts students. The music produced from all the varying and amazing talents brings the students together, forming a sisterhood. Tri – M’s Coffee House was able to raise over $400 for charity. Special thanks to Mrs. Giangiulio and all of Tri-M, especially the senior leaders, Monica Buzzanca, Kristen Yezzi, Bebe Lemanowicz, Megan Myers, Sara Stoud and Elizabeth Romano, for creating such a beautiful event.
